Redirecting to dab without discussion

This issue is being discussed on Talk:Corispermum. I simply don't know why you can't or won't discuss the issue and allow the discussion to finish before you do this. Please, take a breather, and figure out the best way to handle this, or write the article about the common names, or tie them together, or write the article about tumbleweeds. But please don't keep creating redirects in the lead sentence of small articles that take the reader to nothing that gives more information about why the link is there in the first place. Is this about wikilinking bugseed? Bugseed lists plants for which "bugseed" is a common name; linking to it from this article seems appropriate to me. --Una Smith (talk) 08:16, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
