The Template infobox settlement is intended to be used for one settlement in one country. This article, the Dibba article, refers to a region that is divided between two countries and two emirates (Sharjah and Fujairah) in one country (UAE) of the two contries. therefor, many of the values of the parameters in the infobox can't contain information for the three settlements(Dibba Al-Fujairah, Dibba Al-Hisn, Dibba Al-Baya. So in this case, this infobox is giving wrong informaion. The current event is the event in the "Marine Life" section.

You are right about the parent category. I thought it is OK to be used this way.

And thanks for answering my request here. That's fine about the infobox; generally speaking, if you're going to make a removal like that, it's good practice to explain why on the article talk page. I've taken it out again. Also, I didn't notice the marine life section - I've added {{current-section}} there now. One last thing - on talk pages, please use "~~~~" to sign your comments.
Thanks very much for your work on the article! — Hex (❝?!❞) 14:43, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Map

[edit]

This article certainly needs a map to indicate the location of Dibba. werldwayd (talk) 13:30, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
