Merge with "Deception (Criminal)
[edit]Merge with Deception (criminal). This article outlines an element of the deception offences. It would seem appropriate to incorporate that article into the "definition of deception" section of this article. Bamkin 20:48, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Tidy up of page
[edit]There seems to be somewhat of a large gap at the beginning of the article. This could be confusing to some persons. I think it could possibly be tidied up or seomthing to that effect. Dean Sharpe 09:08, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Cut and paste from article
[edit]I have moved the following question here as it does not belong in the article (though it may require an answer in the article).James500 (talk) 20:30, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
- As in a case under section 15 of Theft Act 1968, where it is necessary for the Crown to prove an intention of the defendant to permanently deprive the owner of property obtained by his deception, is it necessary in a case under section 15A of Theft Act 1968 for the Crown to prove the defendant intended to permanently deprive the owner of the money transferred by his deception? I ask the question because it appears to me that section 15 has an overarching effect on all subsections including section 15A?
