Not Tommy Tune's Romantic Partner[edit]

I have removed the statement that he was the romantic partner of Tommy Tune, as this is the wrong David Wolfe. The confusion stems from not only the identical names, but the fact that both men died in 1994. Tune's partner was choreographer David Steiger Wolfe, who was born in 1954 and was only 40 when he died according to published obituaries, while this David Wolfe was born in 1915 and was 79 years old at his death..Lilipo25 (talk) 02:14, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Serious problems with this article[edit]

This page was about the actor David Wolfe. Tommy Tune's article mistakenly linked to it as the David Wolfe who was engaged to Tune and died of AIDS; that was actually choreographer David Steiger Wolfe. I corrected the error in July of 2019 (above). Another user, Rigg, subsequently removed most of the information from this page and made it about David Steiger Wolfe instead, although it still says (Actor) in the title, and DSW was not an actor at all. In addition, the actor DW's IMDB page is still linked.

You cannot simply blank the content of a WP:BLP and make the page about someone else with the same name you would prefer it to be about. I have reverted the page to being about the actor David Wolfe. If anyone would like to create a page on choreographer David Steiger Wolfe, they are welcome to do so. Lilipo25 (talk) 04:09, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest deleting the current 'David Wolfe (actor)' page as it is about the person known at some point in his career as David Bauer and is available on the wiki. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Bauer_(actor) Rigg (talk) 03:06, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
