article name

[edit]

There is no competitor for the page name Chim, so this page should be either Chim or David Seymour. There being only two lks via Chim, i'll assume he is less known by that. It may take an admin to move it from David Seymour back to Chim, if there is reason to do so; if so, just let me know: the only axe i have to grind is re the double title, and others know better than i which of the two reasonable ones is more used.

His professional name was "Chim", and that was the name he was more often known by. The Union List of Artist Names prefers "Chim". So I'd suggest moving the article back to "Chim", with a redirect from David Seymour. Pinkville 03:44, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

– Not the primary topic any longer. We have a new and rather colourful MP of this name in New Zealand with August 2014 page views as high as this one (and September page views, when the election was, much higher), and my guess would be that a lot of page views ending up here are people looking for the NZ politician. At least for the time being, the NZ politician isn't the primary topic either, so I suggest to swap this page name with the dab page. Schwede66 03:03, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nationality

[edit]

English Wikipedia states Seymour was a Polish photographer, Polish Wikipedia states he was an American photographer. Any sources to confirm his nationality?
