Danish citizenship
[edit]Can I still claim Danish citizenship if mother was born in Denmark and has a Danish birth certificate but has became an American citizen and has Danish siblings?? Deborah Foley (talk) 01:12, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
Redundancy
[edit]from the intro: Danish nationality can be acquired in one of the following ways:[1]
Automatically at birth if born in the Kingdom of Denmark and at least one of the parents has Danish citizenship. Automatically at birth if born outside the Kingdom of Denmark and either the mother or father has Danish citizenship. ... Automatically at birth if either parent is a Danish citizen, regardless of birthplace, if the child was born on or after July 1, 2014.[2]
Why not simply write: Automatically if at least one parent has Danish citizenship — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.91.28.0 (talk) 01:08, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
