Hmm, can someone check this[edit]

Hmm, can someone check this

No mention of the open sourcing on the US version of the supposed firms website (www.ocr.com), and there are a lot of 'cracking' groups in Russia..

You can take a look at this news. Unfortunately it is in Russian. Here ate translations from online translation services: Promt and Babel Fish. Look at the very bottom.

There is also news in Cognitive Technologies official website (in Russian also).

There was official press-conference regarding this event on 12 of December.

Temarez (talk) 12:18, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, Can you get a press release from them? 62.56.77.93 (talk) 14:14, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
See official press release (translation via Promt or Babel Fish). You can download this great software here. --Yaleks (talk) 16:27, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Have anybody tried this product? I've tried today and was surprised: this program haven't recognized anything. The quality of recognition is below any possible limit. --87.252.227.52 (talk) 20:22, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You should try to set 200 DPI resolution to get normal results. Quality of recognition in that case can be compared to accuracy of FineReader 4 IMHO Temarez (talk) 21:31, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Online recognition[edit]

The link to the website simply leads to an "under construction" message. Is this service really up and running? If so, please what is the URL? SharkD (talk) 03:33, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OmniFont claim removed[edit]

I removed this claim, which was marked for clarification:

CuneiForm uses the OmniFont system.

I think this is referring to a general omnifont approach; it's later explained that Cuneiform combines this with the general multifont approach. More detail would be helpful, but this statement seemed unnecessary and a bit confusing at the moment. -- Beland (talk) 16:00, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
