Merger proposal

[edit]

Progressive external ophthalmoplegia appears to cover the same ground as this article. As I understand it the terms are interchangeable, but 'CPEO' is a common abbreviation in speech and writing in British neurology, and this article is more detailed. I would therefore propose merging PEO into CPEO. Thoughts? Neurotip (talk) 17:29, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I concur, as this is also the term used in Clinical Neurology, 3rd ed. by Fowler and Scadding. --Eleassar my talk 19:26, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I also concur. --Arcadian (talk) 19:41, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

'Tis done. I've tried to avoid changing the text (as I believe is etiquette for a merge), but it was hard as a lot of this is written badly and in places I can hardly make sense of it. I'll put it on my to do list, but others' contributions are welcome. I couldn't restrain myself from writing a new lead section though. Neurotip (talk) 00:38, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The ANT1 link on this page points to a Greek TV network; no page for the gene exists on this site as of this comment. Pikalax 22:48, 20 April 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pikalax (talkcontribs)

It now links to the enzyme made by ANT1 — also known as SLC25A4. PriceDL (talk) 23:46, 20 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
