Hello! Sorry, but is there any proof that Chimiyon is the way Uzbeks spell this village's name? I was in Chimgan just two weeks ago and I think to remember (you see, I'm not completely sure) that I saw the village's name written Chimgon. However, I couldn't say if this is the Uzbek name, because in this area there are many Kazakh and Russian people, as well. A map I used in Uzbekistan transscribes the name as Čimgan although they usually let an Uzbek o as an o (for example Andijon: Andižon, Boxoro: Buchoro). Google seems to prefer Chimgon but I can't swear that this is the correct variant. Regards, --Man77talk 17:20, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
