Hi @Tavix:

I saw that you closed discussion re page deletion & this particular page was redirected to the hindi/urdu word Cahwal (Rice) - I guess because of the lack of any input from any native Urdu (Pakistan's official language) speakers, there seems to be some confusion. The word Chaaval although may sound like "Chawal" but it is basically a slang used for an "idiot" in Pakistan. It wasn't around for very long, it is in use for over 8-10 years now & is pretty popular in the major Pakistani province of Punjab. So this word doesn't mean Rice & shouldn't be redirect to that page. I don't know what's the guidelines for adding slangs into wikipedia, but this particular slang is very popular, can't say for sure that it deserves a page of its own but the redirect is clearly not required & in my humble opinion should be removed. Thanks Kindly advice me If I could remove the redirect or it is something only experienced editors should do? Because I feel like, I am asking you to do something which I could do myself.Thecapital15 (talk) 04:23, 14 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
