Because the concept is common among four major religions (Jainism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Sikhism), shouldn't the name of the article specify that it only deals with Jain perspectives on the causes of Karma? GizzaDiscuss © 02:17, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The whole idea of having a seperate article on Causes of Karma was on account of complex and detailed treatment given to this particular subject in Jainism. On the other hand the other traditions do not give such a lengthy treatment on causes and types of karma. It would make more sense to have named the article as Causes of Karma (Jainism) had we had articles on causes of karma of other traditions. Anyway, at the start of article it is clear that this article is about Jain karmioc theory. But I am open to suggestion. If more people suggest and if it is proved that it caused confusion then we can reconsider renaming the article. Thanks.--Anish (talk) 05:01, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
