Cleanup Needed[edit]

I honestly cannot even begin to clean up this article. It cites no sources (or does not cite them correctly) and is written from a "fanboy" perspective not befitting an encyclopedia. I am simply not a frequent enough editor of Wikipedia to know how to solve all the problems with this article.

Also, whoever thinks it's clever to add "Carrie also realized that her life was mostly no bolognese. Mostly." is wrong. This is an encyclopedia, not a fanboy pamphlet, nor an entertainment venue.

I have also removed several statements that could not possibly be cited and do not belong in an encyclopedia entry, such as "she discovered a passion for pick your fate novels" and " is an avid spookster and also enjoys the smell of shoe polish." I'm not sure if perhaps Carrie or a friend of hers wrote these things, or perhaps it's just vandalism by someone who thinks they're funny. Either way, these items do NOT belong in this article for any reason.--Lord Galen (talk) 09:08, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, information on friends or families occupation is irrelevant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.26.189.237 (talk) 06:05, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Redirected[edit]

Henn's only claim to notability is her role in Aliens. Outside of that, her only acting role, she does not appear to have garnered signficant coverage in reliable secondary sources. Since her role is adequately covered (and sourced) in the film article, I have redirected this article to the film. --IllaZilla (talk) 23:30, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Biography[edit]

I am hesitating whether or not to add a short biography on the Aliens page, as it does on IMDb.

Restored[edit]

I restored the aticle. There has been added source since the Afd, and the Afd was closed with no consensus. Christian75 (talk) 06:03, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The AfD was here Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Carrie Henn (actress), which was a lean towards delete. My opinion is that she is WP:NOTABLE, perhaps further discussion is needed. Martin451 00:11, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
A deletion review for Carrie Henn (actress) should be made first before this article is restored. I would not object to that if majority votes for that. I frankly do not get why we have both this article and that if they are about the same person. 173.3.76.127 (talk) 13:29, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reconsideration for addition[edit]

I think Henn's notability should be reconsidered here. She was the second-billed actor in one of the most respected blockbuster movies and franchises ever made. That level of achievement alone, IMO, is enough to make her notable. There is more than enough to say (with authoritative references, such as this WIRED article) about her work on set, how she got the role, and her post-movie career. That she did not have a movie career before or after Aliens is notable in itself -- how many other child actors debuted with such a big role, and how many have left Hollywood despite such success. If we need a template for what Henn's article could look like. the French version might be a good start: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrie_Henn Dansnguyen (talk) 04:25, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
