Why was it renamed "Dominican Republic"? Brutannica (talk) 08:11, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Correct the infobox

[edit]

Santo Domingo wasn't continuouslly a Spanish colony from 1493-1821. From 1795-1809 it was ruled by France before being returned to Bonapartist Spain. The infobox needs to be corrected to reflect this. Funnyhat (talk) 18:40, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Francisco Roldán

[edit]

If possible, a couple of lines about the rebellion led by Francisco Roldán would be interesting and useful. 92.238.50.107 (talk) 16:19, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
