[edit]The original page for the image of the footbridge and stream - http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1302195 - makes clear that the photo was taken a few hundred yards north of the Ponds themselves. Ghmyrtle (talk) 09:27, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
Further on footbridge and stream
[edit]Thank you. I put the picture in originally in good faith because Cannop Bridge Marsh, which is the nature reserve which is part of this area, goes up into the woods beyond the actual pond areas, and the Cannop Brook flows through the centre of the reserve as written up in the article (according to the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust information). As I have not visited this reserve and was told the picture was not of Cannop Bridge Marsh reserve area, I thought best to remove (as done already by another editor) as this might have been in an area outside/more northerly than the reserve. Cannop Bridge Marsh
[edit]I've removed a couple of superfluous references to Cannop Bridge Marsh - in the interests of keeping the article balanced. To the same end, I'll also try to research some of the history of the ponds in the next few days. Obscurasky (talk) 18:17, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
Ponds and nature reserve
[edit]Thank you. This was, however, put in with good faith again as it was not clear that the reserve is partly the ponds and partly the stream and land up to the Speech House road. As this article already included mention of the nature reserve I expanded this rather than create a new page as Wikipedia policy statements urge us to ensure that we do not create new pages unnecessarily. If I find any information on the Ponds I will pass it on. Best wishesSjeans (talk) 08:47, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
