Lead
  • "recorded by American recording artist Christina Aguilera, on her fifth studio album, Back to Basics (2006)"..... from Back to Basics.
  • "peaking within the top 20 of most countries"..... let's give some specific names of countries here
  • "Aguilera performed the track on a number of shows"..... provide the names of shows
  • "covered on several occasions"..... include who covered it
Background and release
  • The first four sentences of the first paragraph belong in the Back to Basic album page, not here. The rest of the paragraph belongs in "Composition"
  • "was purchased on iTunes"..... released
  • "It was also available as a maxi single there on September 1, 2007"..... released as
  • This section may as well simply be "Release" due to its "background" info relying on album background rather than song background
Composition
  • "At the beginning, the lyrics are" → "The song opens with the lyrics"
  • "He's a one-stop shop/ Makes the panties drop"..... needs space between "shop" and "/"
  • Per WP:OVERCITE, a ref doesn't need to be used more than once in a row per paragraph, so remove the first instance of ref#27 (Rolling Stone)
Critical reception
  • "criticized the song's lyrics for being too sexual"..... a bit too long, try "criticized the song's sexual lyrics" or "criticized the song's sexual content"
  • More WP:OVERCITE of ref#27
  • I find it interesting how Jenny Eliscu both praised the song AND found it to be a possible rip-off Andrews Sisters' "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy". Looking into the ref, she doesn't definitively call it a rip-off (uses the word may), so let's replace "She also called 'Candyman' 'a dead rip-off'" with "though suggested it might be 'a dead rip-off'"
  • Remove "on it" from "but praised Aguilera's vocals on it"
  • Work source for Sean Daly's review is missing
  • For some reason, ref#33 is listed as "Yahoo" yet links to an About.com review from Bill Lamb, which is unreliable per WP:ALBUM/SOURCES.
  • Work source for Stephen Thomas Erlewine's review is missing
  • Include the name of the reviewer from The Guardian
  • BMI (ref#37) supports an award for "Ain't No Other Man", but not this track
Chart performance
  • Music Canada (ref#45) is dead
  • RIANZ (ref#61) is dead
Music video
  • More WP:OVERCITE with ref#62 (MTV)
  • "PopCrush" (ref#65) is unreliable
  • Remove the comma after "John Montgomery for MTV News"
  • Let's make note that Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around... Comes Around" won the VMA award.
Live performances and covers
  • I'm skeptical about London Evening Standard (ref#68)
  • More WP:OVERCITE of ref#69
  • "The performance was supported by dancers"..... included dancers
  • "jazz legends" is borderline POV, try "jazz artists"
  • ref#71 (IMDb) is unreliable
  • ref#72 (NME) links to the site's main homepage
  • Link Back to Basics Tour after "The song was later performed during the worldwide" instead of in the photo caption
  • ref#75 (RCA Records) is dead
  • ref#76 (Daily Mail) is unreliable
  • Remove the comma after "series" in "American TV series, Glee"
  • "The version was well received by critics"..... The Glee cover
  • I'm skeptical about TVLine (ref#79)
  • "X Factor (Poland)" should link to X Factor (Polish TV series)
Credits and personnel
  • "Source:"..... not very fitting, you can just say that credits were from album booklet
Charts and certifications
  • ref#89 (RIANZ) is dead
Release history
  • The "label" section of the table needs to be closed off
References
  • MTV News should not be italicized in ref#1
  • "Wenner Media" should link to Jann Wenner in ref#2

  • Publisher for Amazon.com (all languages) is Capital Group Companies in ref's #8 through #11

  • ref#95 is missing its work/publisher fields

I'm really sorry, but the issues with prose and references are simply too extensive. Failing this as a result.
