Aalto University[edit]

The Aalto University does not appear to have existed when she graduated in 1959, at least not under that name (the institutions eventually being merged into the AU have a longer history). This needs checking and clarification. --Hegvald (talk) 21:27, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

While translating the Finnish article, it states that "Mickwitz valmistui Taideteollisesta oppilaitoksesta graafikoksi vuonna 1958," which translates to "Mickwitz graduated from the School of Art and Design as a graphic artist in 1958". The link on "School of Art and Design" redirects to the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture. The English article for the university does mention that was founded in 1871, however it may have been under a different name. Any help in fixing it will be appreciated. "Taideteollinen oppilaitos" was the name of Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture from 1949 to 1973. The English name they use on Aalto University's website is Institute of Industrial Arts. 88.113.105.101 (talk) 17:47, 5 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
