I made brief edits to this article, including adding links to certain words that are not as common and making small edits to increase readability. Overall, I thought this was a well written piece. Modifications (April 2nd, 2024)[edit]
I have conducted online research regarding the beetle and have added information to this article. I have concerned myself with the behavior of the beetle. I wrote a lead section, included various headings, and sub-paragraphs. These are the following headings I added to the article: Taxonomy, Distribution, Genetic population structure, Life cycle, Overwintering, Habitat, Predation, and Conservation. The sub-paragraphs I have included are the following: General description of larva, General description of eggs, and General description of pupa. I'm leaving this comment for a fellow classmate for an assignment: Overall well-written and thorough article! I changed some phrasing and the ordering of some sections to make it easier for the reader to read. Moreover, citations had footnotes before the period, so I fixed the formatting of citations. I think the biggest thing that needs to be fixed is that citations are needed for every paraphrased sentence/ sentence you used as a source. Bomapoodle (talk) 14:19, 6 April 2024 (UTC)

This article is well-written and also included various definitions to terms, which is very helpful for readers! I made some minor grammar and syntax edits and added a few Wikilinks to words or phrases. I also changed the order of the descriptions under the Life cycle section so that they were in chronological order. I suggest expanding more on the Genetic population structure section. It's not clear how sex allocation, Fisher's Theory and ESS are related to this specific species, so expanding on this would be beneficial. The image under this section is also not very related to the topic of species, so I suggest removing it or changing it. Overall, great job! Cvj.005 (talk) 19:25, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

I think this article is very well-structured with good flow of information. My main suggestion is to add more information about the beetle’s interactions with humans. In the “Conservation efforts” section, I think it could be helpful to explain how humans can fragmentation of the beetle’s habitat and how that impacts the beetle’s breeding ability such that there is a population decrease.
