Call Me by Your Name (novel) → Call Me by Your Name – unnecessary disambiguation Facu-el Millo (talk) 20:38, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
- The disambiguation appears to be necessary to disambiguate between the novel and the film. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 21:12, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). EdJohnston (talk) 21:12, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
- Comment: We need to distinguish the novel from the film of the same name. The novel gets about 1,000 views per day and the film, 8,000. If we only went by views, then the film would be the WP:Primary topic. The proponent of the move ought to give their rationale. EdJohnston (talk) 21:12, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
- If anything needs to be moved, it's Call Me by Your Name (film). Apart from the views, the film has more than 300 links on wikipedia, while the novel less than 30. — bieχχ (talk) 09:25, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose - and for sure there's a third topic. In ictu oculi (talk) 10:38, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. No clear primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:56, 5 September 2018 (UTC)

Montero
[edit]Just noting that in [Montero_(Call_Me_by_Your_Name)]] it confirms that the songs title is a reference to the film: "The song's title is taken from Lil Nas X's first name, while the subtitle is a reference to the 2017 LGBT-themed film of the same name. André Aciman, author of Call Me by Your Name from which the film was adapted, expressed that he was grateful and humbled that Lil Nas X had written a song with the same name as his novel. Lil Nas X later stated the film was one of the first queer movies he had ever seen which felt "very artsy" and made him interested in the concept of "calling somebody by your own name as lovers and trying to keep it between you two", inspiring him to write about it."
