It feels like this article has too much information about specifics about the event, which aren't going to matter to anyone unless you will actually be attending the event. Maybe someone could add more information about the history of the event; otherwise I think this might be a candidate for deletion. Thoroughbred Phoenix 03:56, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why on earth would you delete a page such as this? Despite the lack of historical information about the festival, it still contains information that could be useful for some people. Surely a page with some information is better than a page with no information?!

The Festival called in the receivers at the end of 2008, and there will not be a Festival in 2009. The Welsh Arts Council is considering two bids to resurrect the Festival in 2010.
