Removed extraneous info on festivals

[edit]

I thought it would be a good idea to write notes on the bills of festivals Garbage played, but I've changed my mind, its just extra info. Going to save whats done already below, and use the refs for the main artilce instead. Will instead make a note if Garbage headlined a particular festival stage, rather than mention them all.

Notes on European and North American club dates (March–May 2005)
^ a Support act for this concert was a French female-fronted indie band named Melatonine.
^ b This concert was promoted as Rocknacht by German station WDR. Garbage headlined this event; lower on bill were Turbonegro, Blues Explosion, Urge Overkill, The Zutons and The Frames.
^ c This concert was a part of that year's HFStival, sponsored by Washington, D.C. / Baltimore radio station WHFS. Garbage performed on the Main Stage below Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Billy Idol, Good Charlotte, Social Distortion, New York Dolls; and after Echo & the Bunnymen, Interpol, They Might Be Giants, Louis XIV, The Bravery and Gold Mind Squad.

Notes on European dates (June–July 2005)
^ a At both these festivals Garbage performed on the Suzuki Alternastage below The Chemical Brothers and The Hives; and after Sonic Youth, Tocotronic, Feeder, Thievery Corporation, Phantom Planet, John Legend, Maximo Park, The Frames and Melody Club. At Rock Im Park, Chemical Brothers and Melody Club did not perform.
^ b Support act for this concert was Irish indie rock band JJ72.
^ 'c" This performance was on the Main Stage of that year's Download Festival. Garbage performed before headliners Feeder, and above Dinosaur Jr., Megadeath, Biffy Clyro, The Others, JJ72, Wednesday 13 and Queen Adreena. ^ d Garbage were mid-way on the bill of this festival, above I Am Kloot, Succo Marcio, Miura and performing before Green Day and R.E.M..
^ e The running order of this show at Parc de Princes was Moby, Mathieu Chedid, Garbage, Luke and Tears For Fears.
^ f Garbage performed on the main Pyramid stage. Also performing were Basement Jaxx, Primal Scream, Brian Wilson, Van Morrison, Jools Holland, James Blunt, Bellydance Superstars & The Desert Roses, and Yeovil Town Band. Kylie Minogue had to cancel her appearance after a breast cancer diagnosis; Shirley Manson sent her tributes to her whilst onstage.
^ f This show featured Garbage performing with Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age on the bill.
^ g Garbage performed on the main stage. The event running order was: Athlete, Within Temptation, Garbage, Green Day and Faithless.
^ h Garbage headlined this festival. Performing before them were Ghinzu, The National, Cali, Cake, Bonnie Prince Billy & Matt Sweeney, Kas Product and Tom Vek.
^ i On "Rock It!", the third night of the two-week festival, Garbage performed on the main Stravinsky Auditorium stage. Patti Smith and Headfake completed the bill.
^ i Garbage headlined the second night of this festival, which featured mainly European acts such as Die Toten Hosen and Leningrad Cowboys.

Notes on North American dates (July-Sept 2005)
This concert was a part of that year's Street Scene, which ran over two stages. Garbage performed on the Captain Morgan stage below The Killers; and after Louis XIV and Hot Hot Heat.
This concert was a part of Underground Atlanta, a series of weekly free concerts organised by radio station 99X. Garbage headlined this show, the last in the run. Also performing were Drop Sonic, Avenge Vegas, Gates of Berlin and Helios.

^ e This concert was a part of that year's Bumbershoot festival, where Garbage headlined the Friday line-up, ahead of New York Dolls and The Donnas.
^ f At this concert theSTART did not support Garbage; they headlined a show at the same venue the preceding night.[1]
^ g This concert was organised by radio station KROQ. Performing in reverse order were: Cake, Oasis, Weezer, Beck, 311, Madness, Jet, Garbage, Live, Arcade Fire, The Bravery and DJ AM & Travis Barker.
