Per esempio date

[edit]

Although there is at least one published source that gives the date of per esempio as 1969, there was a performance on 22 January 1968 (I was one of the percussionists mentioned in that review). The LSSO rehearsed it the previous month, by when it had already been performed by the West Riding Youth Orchestra, so I'm pretty confident I can date it at 1967. I won't footnote the article for consistency with the other listings. It's not even mentioned on the composer's own website. And, if a 53-year memory serves, it was actually titled "...per esempio...". David Brooks (talk) 17:08, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I got the score, and it is copyrighted 1968. I can't find a source for the Yorkshire premiere, so that will have to do. I also mis-remembered the title; capital P, small e. it was the explanatory notes that ended with "...for example...". David Brooks (talk) 17:13, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
