Redirect or disambiguation?

While it may have been inappropriate to redirect to Battlestar Galactica (2004 TV series), I don't believe this page really needs its own distinct disambiguation, separate from Battlestar Galactica (disambiguation). Can't we just redirect there? Is there a consensus on closely-related disambiguation pages? This one, at least, seems unnecessary to me... -- Fru1tbat 21:52, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure which one you decided on, but I thought I'd add my two cents in the mean time: I'm not sure it would be a good idea to link to this (a second disambiguation page) from the "master" disambiguation page. The master page should be clear enough (and it's all that big) that someone should be able to find their way directly to whatever article they're looking for. I don't see any advantage over Battlestar Galactica (disambiguation). I added some headlines for better overview on that page. It would rather be a disadvantage to redirect from one disambiguation page to another before an actual site.
