I am puzzled on why someone elected to remove the entire "Bashford Manor Mall in the 1970s" section. It presented irreplaceable, first-hand, oral-history-type information that probably cannot be found anywhere else other than in brains of people who were there at that time and place -- people who are gradually dying off, or will be. As far as I can tell the only rationale given for the deletion was the two words "essay like." Is being "essay like" a sufficiently great problem or negative to deny visitors the extensive, irreplaceable information contained in the section, which one person elected to delete? The presence of the section also invited additions and improvements, including those that might make it not "essay like." (In fact, I had come by to add more information to it.)
