In the interest of accuracy, Balance is not a cartoon, it is stop-motion animation. I will add this article to the Balance disambiguation page, but someone trying to find it without the disambiguation page is unlikely to find it since the film is not a cartoon. (Film) or (Short) would be a better differential adjective. Can we change this? Canonblack 17:35, 25 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

A better title would be Balance (animation). I'll move it there. You can change the links if you like. Balance (cartoon) will remain as a redirect. --KJBracey 07:25, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

In case that at a later date, a criticism-section will be added, i would suggest the following two points: 1. The suggested "judgement" of the movie, is itself out of balance. It does, as so many others, portrait "altruism" as good and "egoism" as bad. It fails to show that altruism disrupts the balance as well, and that the only possible win-situation, would be "mutualism". 2. One could argue that if the box represents resources, then the fact that it is one single item, which cannot positionally be distributed leads to a skewed perception of reality. --82.141.53.223 16:11, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alphaville

[edit]

Hello, first sorry for my bad english. But i have a question: why isn't alphaville, the music group, with no word in the article? The film was made for the Short Film Project "Songlines" initiated by the german pop group "Alphaville" (yes: big in japan, forever young (covered by jay-z)...) for their album "The Breathtaking Blue" in 1989. Thats also why this short film is also the video for the Alphaville-Song "Middle of the Riddle" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDboV5PNefg I hope somebody with better english can put this informations in the article. thanks a lot and greetings from germany ;) 188.192.56.123 (talk) 23:02, 12 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
