Largest towns without a railway station

[edit]

Corby in Northamptonshire is usually considered to be the largest, and is some 10,000 inhabitants larger than Leigh. I've amended the article to reflect this. Crac4543 (talk) 15:03, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Corby now has a station. I have, in passing, always wondered why many people in leigh really will not have it that their town is one of the largest in the country without a railway station. The Leigh Wiki entry had a big "editing battle" a year or so back when all references to the lack of a railway station were banished and seen as an attack on the town! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.97.222.118 (talk) 09:12, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
