Apt. vs Apt
[edit]Isn't the period after "Apt" just stylisation and therefore should be removed from the title? 106.69.3.120 (talk) 05:21, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- Apt. is the official title of the song though? 2600:1700:10FF:C870:9521:AF05:F73E:B025 (talk) 02:32, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
- There's no period in the title for Humble by Kendrick Lamar:

TikTok Billboard Top 50
[edit]Apt. made its debut at #22 on the U.S. TikTok Billboard Top 50 chart on November 2, 2024.TikTok Billboard Top 50 Should we consider including this chart in the chart section? Additionally, If it’s eligible I am uncertain about the appropriate template to utilize for this particular chart. If there is an experienced editor available who can provide assistance in this matter, it would be greatly appreciated. Newpicarchive (talk) 20:24, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
Billboard Peak position
[edit]As of 11/05/2024 (American date format), Apt.'s peak position in US Billboard Hot 100 is 8. However, in the charts section of the article, it is mistakenly or intentionally typed as 1. I also couldn't fix it when I replaced the 1 with 8, the alignment is collapsed. Polar Hyena (talk) 15:45, 5 November 2024 (UTC)

Apt. (song) → Apt (song) – Long established precedent of removing unnecessary periods that are included as stylistic elements at the end of song titles, even if the period is part of the actual credited song title. See the following examples:
- I Knew You Were Trouble
- Humble (song) (and all the songs from Damn)
- Done (The Band Perry song)
- Love (Kid Cudi song)
- Break on Me
- No More Parties in LA
- I Just Need U
- Joy (For King & Country song)
Similar precedent for for album titles:
- Withering to Death
- Janet (album)
- Damn (Kendrick Lamar album)
- Shakira (album)
- Begin (David Archuleta album)
- Idina (album)
