Deletion
[edit]I'm not a regular Wikipedian, so I don't know all the rules and protocols, but I don't understand why this is marked for deletion. Can anyone help me to understand? What does "no RSes in references" mean? The notice seems to suggest that making further edits to the article may save it from deletion. Improving the article is probably a good idea anyway, as it's lacking a lot of information, but I don't see how this is relevant to the decision of whether to delete it. Thanks. - All content in Wikipedia has to be sourced to verifiable third-party reliable sources. (There's a lot that isn't, but it should be.) This is a basic content rule of Wikipedia. See WP:RS, WP:V. Basically, something like nontrivial third-party media coverage for all claims made in the article - David Gerard (talk) 11:12, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- So if someone adds more/better sources, the article won't need to be deleted? Lucas Tiridath (talk) 11:14, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- Pretty much. I'm willing to be convinced, and "proposed deletion" is removable by anyone, on the assumption the stated problems have been fixed - David Gerard (talk) 11:38, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- OK well I've had a go at updating the article with some more recent information and adding some references. Let me know if you think that's enough to avoid deleting the article entirely. Thanks. Lucas Tiridath (talk) 17:29, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
