Fair use rationale for Image:Anzio.jpg[edit]

Image:Anzio.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

NEWEST VERSION/NEXT NEWEST VERSION "ANZIO": THE BOARD WARGAME BY AVALON HILL[edit]

ON 13 OCT. I SUMITTED AN EXPANSION OF THE "ANZIO" ENTRY TO AMPLIFY INFORMATION ALREADY INCLUDED. I LEFT ALL PREVIOUS TEXT INTACT. THIS WAS ALL WIPED AWAY BY A COMMENT THAT THE ARTICLE WAS "ABOUT A GAME, AND NOT A HISTORY LESSON". I'M TOTALLY A NOVICE ON WIKEPEDIA, BUT, I DISAGREE. PLEASE RECONSIDER MY ADDITONS AS I THINK THEY ARE IMPORTANT. I ADDED SIGNICANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE GAME:

   IT'S PUBLISHER A.H., AVALON HILL, INVENTED, THE MASS MARKET BOARD WARGAME;
   ANZIO'S DESIGN FOLLOWED MOST OF A.H.'s INVENTIONS/CONVENTIONS THAT DEFINED ALMOST ALL EARLY
        WAR BOARDGAMES, EVEN BEING ADOPTED BY A.H.'S MANY NEW COMPETITORS;
        THE ONE KEY DIFFERENCE/INNOVATION BY A.H., WITH ANZIO, WAS, THE GREAT NEW VARIETY OF 'COLORS'
           OF COUNTERS, AND MUCH MORE VARIED COMBAT FACTORS, AND MVEMENT ALLOWANCES, THESE HAD A MAJOR
               IMPACT UPON FUTURE WAR BOARDGAMES, AGAIN EVEN BY ITS COMPETITORS;
        AND, I AMPLIFIED THE 'HISTORICAL' REASONS FOR THIS AS THE PREVIOUS AUTHOR HAD SUMMARIZED
            BRIEFLY.

I DID DISCUSS THE HISTORY BEHIND THE MIILITARY SITUATION THE GAME EXPLORED, AS IT WAS A SERIOUS ATTEMPT

  AT A HISTORICAL SIMULATION OF A SIGNIFICANT CAMPAIGN IN WWII. MOST WARGAMES MEET THIS CRITERIA AS
      THEY ARE OF THIS TYPE EVEN TODAY. ALL THE WARGAME PUBLISHERS, OF THAT TIME, ESPECIALLY A.H.,
          THE EARLY INVENTOR, INNOVATOR, LEADER, TREND SETTER, AND STANDARD SETTER, FOCUSED ON ACTUAL
              HISTORICAL CONFLICT[WAR] SITUATIONS, AND PRIDED THEMSELVES UPON THE ACCURASY OF THEIR
                  RESEARCH, AND THEIR SIMULATIONS OF ACTUAL CONFLICTS/CAMPAIGNS/WARS/BATTLES.

FURTHER, THE CAMPAIGN/GAME EARILY PREFIGURED THE NEXT WAR, IN KOREA, AS THE ALLIES WHERE FACED WITH

   THE SAME PROBLEMS FACED BY THE U.S.A./U.N. MULTINATIONAL FORCES IN ITALY.

I DID HAVE ONE ULTERIOR MOTIVE! IN THAT I BELIEVE THESE 'FUN' GAMES CAN BE USED BY TEACHERS TO

   HELP STUDENTS IN HIGHSCHOOLS/COLLEGES TO LEARN MORE ABOUT MILITARY HISTORY, AND TO STIMULATE THEM
       TO DO FURTHER RESEARCH ON THEIR OWN. MAYBE WIKI's TRY TO DO THAT TOO. WE DON'T TEACH ABOUT OUR
            MILITARY HISTORY MUCH ANYMORE IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, AS IT SEEMS SOMEHOW POLITICALLY INCORRECT.
                 IF WE DON'T TEACH THE PAST, OUR CHILDREN WILL SADLY REPEAT IT, WITH ALL OF IT's
                     MISTAKES. IF WE AS AMERICAN's DON'T KNOW/TEACH HOW MUCH THE REVOLUTION,
                         THE CIVIL WAR, WWI, WWII, KOREA, VIETNAM, THE COLD WAR, ... COST,
                             WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED, IT's COSTS, AND WHO WE ARE!
