I'll review this article shortly. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 06:25, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the issues I found:

  • "Following his draft," following the draft sounds a bit better to me; both in lead and amateur section.
  • "Following his draft, he joined the college ranks with the Boston College Eagles of the Hockey East conference" Is it normal for hockey players to be drafted, go to college, yet still be part of the organization? If so that's fine, I'm just curious since that's very interesting as a non-hockey expert (perhaps baseball should take that up).
Yes this is common, after the draft teams hold players rights for four years if no entry level contract has been agreed upon in that time the player then becomes a free agent.
  • "He scored 12 points in his freshman year" in isn't needed
  • "he made his NHL debut on October 5, 2005, in a game" second comma not needed.
  • "were shutout by Sweden in the quartefinal" quarterfinal
  • Ref #7 ("Providence Bruins sign Andrew Alberts") needs a publisher.

I'll put the article on hold and will pass it when the issues are fixed. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 04:37, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hope this isn't too much of a breach in etiquette but I addressed the issues for the nominator. With the back log elimination drive I think he has a few other GA reviews going on right now so he might have missed this one and everything looked very minor so I just took care of it. Thanks for your time and the review. Cheers--Mo Rock...Monstrous (leech44) 16:59, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, thanks for doing that. Everything looks good, so I'll pass the article. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:22, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
