Mortar?
[edit]Anchor stones can be held together by simple gravity, but was there an option to use a temporary "mortar" compound? The mortar was made with starch and sugar, and was promoted as non-toxic. A structure made with it could later be soaked in a bucket of water overnight, allowing disassembly if desired. I'm sure this exists, but it may only be offered by competitors such as "SES" or "Kyddmix", or it might also be a feature of the Anchor brand. Reify-tech (talk) 04:19, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
Zinguer source
[edit]Zinguer's Arch in Play (isbn 9780813937724) is an excellent source on this, probably my favorite chapter. I wrote a [| book review] on it, so i think it might be too close to [WP:COI] for me to edit this article directly. The gravity thing is very interesting tho that user:Reify-tech mentioned. Indeed playing with these makes me think kids really got a fist-hand physics lesson that Legos don't provide.Fred (talk) 22:30, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
