References regarding Bimbisar

The 1966 movie Amrapali shows Ajatsatru and not Bimbisar as the lover of Amrapali. I couldn't find a reference for either, though. This article shows Bimbisar as the king who attacked Vaishali. According to buddhist literature and ethics Bimbisara was among enlightened lay persons. So unsure Bimbisar had an affair with Amrapali either Attacked Vishali. But after his death Ajatsatru & King Kosala engaged in a war with lands in the territory. -Kalakannija (talk) 14:57, 17 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
