The Russian page gives the translation of the toponym as 'the broad land'. Seems like it would rather be 'yel' for the 'wind'. Rather than 'yer'.--2A00:1FA1:8696:C132:0:67:D2A9:5C01 (talk) 06:51, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
