Merger proposal
[edit]With When Love Takes Over. I was told to boldly merge this at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Airi L; now it has been objected to, I am putting in a request here. I am proposing a merger with When Love Takes Over because there is not enough information to justify a standalone article. (For the full eight-sentence diatribe, see the AfD.) Notifications: Michig, Ritchie333, Technohead1980.--Launchballer 15:42, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- I support the merge because aside from any considerations of notability, there simply isn't enough verifiable encyclopedic information to merit a standalone article. If someone can come up with some then there may be a case for leaving this, but so far the sources don't seem to have been found. --Michig (talk) 16:22, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- If there isn't enough information to warrant an article for Airi L, can Launchballer explain to me why he hasn't proposed similar mergers for the pages he created Big Hits 2012, Hit Masters and Select Hits? Technohead1980 (talk) 09:02, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
- With pleasure: they all had more than one hit, so a redirect is inappropriate.--Launchballer 09:35, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
- Select Hits didn't. The definition of a hit in the UK is anything that made the top 75 meaning they've had one hit. Technohead1980 (talk) 18:42, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
- I disagree. The Official Charts Company releases the top 100 every week; they only archive the top 75 because of limitations in how the site is designed. Either way, that is a conversation to be had on Talk:Select Hits.--Launchballer 18:50, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
