Criticism/Controversial Work

The criticism section of this needs to explain more clearly what the criticism is actually about. More references supporting critical points are also important. Bear in mind that this article is about a living person. A high standard of care must be taken to assure a neutral tone and accuracy. Folklore1 (talk) 21:27, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

I removed the reference to: www.geraldgardner.com. When I tried to visit the site, my browser responded with multiple error messages. Whatever information the site holds was inaccessible. I'm placing a citation-needed tag here for now, but hope to find a suitable replacement reference in a few days. Or maybe another Wikipedia volunteer will fix the problem shortly. I've changed the name of this section to "Controversial Work," because that's what it's really about, although it contains criticism too. I've also given it a neutrality tag. This tag should remain in place until this section has either been revised for a more neutral tone or references can be provided citing specifically where Kelly's errors occured. If I can find time out from shoveling snow, I hope to do some of the work myself. However, other volunteers are certainly welcome to lend a hand.Folklore1 (talk) 00:09, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
I have added another reference (to a scholarly book by Chas S. Clifton of Colorado State University, Pueblo), which more neutrally weights the controversy. 70.36.137.217 (talk) 18:19, 12 July 2013 (UTC)

Clean up

After some revisions, re-organization and referencing, I removed the cleanup and neutrality tags from the article. If you feel the article needs more work to satisfy Wikipedia standards, please leave a note about specific improvements you would like to see. Folklore1 (talk) 13:35, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Belladonna

A recent (August 2, 2010) edit erroneously claimed Kelly was married to porn star Belladonna. I don't know whether this was a mistaken assumption by the annonymous editor or facetious humor. Belladonna is indeed married to somebody with a similar name, Aiden Kelly. However, the spelling of the first name is slightly different. Aiden and Aidan are not the same person.
