Military career
[edit]I decided to remove the information written in the 'introduction' section since it was repeated in 'fight against the Taliban' section. Also I changed the heading to 'military career'. If my edit was unconstructive, do let me know.Abhishek9779 (talk) 19:23, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

Dear Sir/Madam,
Raziq Achakzai was a hero for Afghan people. I don't know who wrote this wrong statement about him that he was a murderer of children. Please get more reference before you publish a statement like this. People in Afghanistan love him and this kind of statement makes a gap between the people and Wikipedia. 2603:3024:17FD:0:A893:C85F:E51D:62 (talk) 17:05, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. —KuyaBriBriTalk 19:15, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
Suggest adding a sentence to lead concerning human rights abuses
[edit]The recent NY Times reporting on his human rights abuses (which another editor already added to the article) is so extensive, damning and important that I think the topic should at least be mentioned in the lead. Perhaps adding a sentence like this at the end of the lead:
"A New York Times investigation documented extensive human rights abuses by Achakzai's forces, including hundreds of forced disappearances and dozens of extrajudicial killings." Jameson Nightowl (talk) 02:44, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
