[edit]It seems to me that the regiment during its Mysore war service was known as the The 73rd Regiment (Royal Highland East Indies), later serving under Lt.-Col. James Spens (a Major in the regiment until 1792) The source is Burke's landed gentry of Great Britain By Peter Beauclerk Dewar, p.1248Koakhtzvigad (talk) 11:43, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
