Translated?
[edit]The shows like South Park, Squidbillies, etc. shown on the channel 2×2 — are they shown with Russian translation or with original English audio with Russian subtitles or straight up unmodified? Or how exactly? Thx! --KpoT (talk) 13:17, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- They are aired with complete Russian translation. SkyBonTalk\Contributions 19:20, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for teh quick response!
- Wow!... That sucks! To watch South Park or Squidbillies or Aqua Teen Hunger Force in Russian translation?! It's a comedy in itself!
- I myself am Russian and whenever I watch Hollywood movies translated into Russian - I cringe! --KpoT (talk) 13:48, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- Removed some propaganda bullshit about "free media supressed by totalitarian censorship". Added the real official quote about Happy Tree Friends, the only actually banned 2x2 cartoon, and criticism from Pentecostalists.Garret Beaumain (talk) 22:34, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Renaming
[edit]Sorry for bad english. In Russian Wiki this article has already renamed to 2x2. The main reason - channel was registred as ООО "Телерадиокомпания 2x2" (Teleradiocompany 2x2 Ltd.), so, to my mind, you should do the same. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.237.208.243 (talk) 19:36, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Recent edits have made this article extremely long. Something should be done to trim it down a bit and add some more references. Zell Faze (talk) 14:22, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
Poorly written article
[edit]Much of the article looks like illegible and incomprehensible Google Translate'd bullshit. I don't have time to improve it, so can you guys do it? Zakawer (talk) 16:29, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
- I began cleaning it up. I also want to pay attention to all those who edit articles about Russian TV channels here, that they should not use Google Translate because of all these effects. Support ya. guу! 08:59, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
- The best we can do is to revert to an early version, before user Niptoon started rewriting the article in awful English and needless detail. This version was brief, correct and useful. Beaumain (talk) 17:36, 17 May 2018 (UTC)
