Claiming rule teams
[edit]Would it be worth having a colour or a symbol for the claiming rule teams in the section of the entry list? To make it easier to see who is using that rule and who are the factory entries. Similar to the E for evo class in the British superbike championship? Thoughts please Xrateddan (talk) 12:59, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
- I agree, but the symbol idea is better than the colour, as colours would make it look too cluttered. Sas1998 (talk) 09:51, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

Order of results table
[edit]I'm a little bit put off by the current order of the calendar table. It lists Moto3 first, then Moto2 and MotoGP. I feel this should be around the other way, and for two reasons:
1) MotoGP is the premier class. Moto3 might be the first class to actually race on a race weekend, but MotoGP is the top tier.
2) The page lists MotoGP entries and MotoGP points before Moto2 and Moto3. Having the results in the calendar table the other way around is inconsistent.
I have gone back and done this to the 2010 and 2011 season pages as well, back to the introduction of Moto2. I think that this is the best way to represent the results, since it is consistent with the way other information is presented on the page, and also because MotoGP is the highest tier, and so should be listed first. MZ bikes
[edit]Anybody knows why at each Grand Prix Toni Finsterbusch's bike has a different name? In Qatar it was named MZ-RE Honda, in Spain MZ FTR and, from Portugal FP3, it's Honda. I just think it's the same bike, but I can't understand why they change name during the season, this kind of things is a bit confusing. A similar issue is also present in Moto2 with Alexander Lundh, MZ FTR in Qatar and MZ-RE Honda from Spain. 87.9.140.50 (talk) 19:26, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
Lots of the teams seem to be swapping and changing what they are using in terms of machinary. In terms of Finsterbusch i would assume that the "MZ-RE Honda" will be an MZ made chassis, the MZ FTR is a change in chassis and now they seem to have switched to the base Honda chassis. The same with Lundh, it is possible that like Ivan Silva in Moto GP they have more than one rolling chassis. I'm no expert but i'd just say that they are chopping and changing trying to be more competertive Xrateddan (talk) 21:12, 7 May 2012 (UTC)

Moto2/Moto3 round numbering
[edit]I have proposed a change to the round numbering in the Moto2/125cc/Moto3 Participants tables in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 season summary articles. You are welcome to express any views you may have on the subject at the centralised discussion. Thanks. DH85868993 (talk) 07:22, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
TBA
[edit]Team | Constructor | Motorcycle | No. | Rider | Rounds |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Speed Master[1] | ART-Aprilia[2] | TBA | 54 | Mattia Pasini[3] | 1–14 |
84 | Roberto Rolfo[4] | 15–18 | |||
Paul Bird Motorsport | ART-Aprilia[5] | TBA | 77 | James Ellison[5] | All |
There are still a lot of TBA in this article, but the season is already over. I assume they have riden a bike during the season. Marcovdw (talk) 20:36, 5 January 2013 (UTC) (from Dutch Wikipedia)
- Nice to see the MotoGP bikes have been filled in. However, some Moto3 bikes still have TBA, and I can't find which bike they used. Marcovdw (talk) 21:54, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
- Why not fill TBA on ART-Aprilia with Aprilia RSV4? what is difference between Aprilia GP Bikes with Aprilia RSV4 on WSBK? User:Arif in bali(talk) 05:15, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- It's based on the RSV4, but ultimately it isn't an RSV4. Readro (talk) 11:11, 12 March 2013 (UTC)

Moto 2
[edit]Moto 2 results & points tables need an overhaul after Anthony West's results between May 2012 and October 2013 have been annulled. Topcardi (talk) 15:31, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
