Sell-outs
[edit]Hi, could you please give me the link to the discussion/guideline where it says that we don't indicate sell-outs? --Jaellee (talk) 17:55, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
- There isn't one that I know of. However, I don't recall having done it last year and I don't see in other season articles for clubs. If I'm mistaken, feel free to show me where it's consistent across the project articles. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:29, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
- When you wrote "we don't indicate sell-outs" I thought that there was some earlier consensus on this topic which I missed. I have no problem writing "capacity" instead of "sell-out", "sold-out" or whatever, I'd just like to know if there is a standard. --Jaellee (talk) 19:57, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
- No. Completely my mistake. I'm used to {{footballbox_collapsible}} where it's not used. My mistake. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:10, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

Results and standings table
[edit]What is everyone's thoughts on having the lines in the football box collapsible template? Also, should we use our own standings box or use the template that's already there? Kingjeff (talk) 18:15, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- Several other European clubs simply list the two teams above and two teams below from the main table, but maintain it separately. In the case of other first-place clubs, that means simply listing the top three. So, use our own standings assuming that someone maintains it, otherwise, include the league's season table. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:38, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- I'm referring to the Champions League group stage standings. Four teams are in it and we, the editors of this article, will not likely have to edit the template since the editors of this season's Champions League article will edit the template. Kingjeff (talk) 18:43, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- I think the use of lines makes the tables look more organized. The use of the template increases efficiency. The less time we spend on updating information on multiple pages, the more time we have to work on other articles, so the template makes sense for proper use of one's time and also ensures that all articles using this information are updated in a timely manner. EddieV2003 (talk) 20:41, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- In that case, template. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:55, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- Walter Görlitz, what are your thoughts on having the lines in the football box collapsible template? Kingjeff (talk) 02:25, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
- I would lean toward whichever takes up less space or takes the least amount of duplication of work. That would likely be collapsed template. But that's not how the league results are listed. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 03:59, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think the lines take up any more space. I think it's just a matter of presentation style. Kingjeff (talk) 04:11, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

UEFA Champions League matches
[edit]Would anybody oppose the use of the fb lo match template for the group stage matches. Considering that the group stage is a league format on a smaller scale, it might be more useful to use fb lo match template instead of the current format. Kingjeff (talk) 04:00, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
Squad Appearances and Goals Sections Needs Update
[edit]I usually edit that part of the article, but I'm locked out (I just recently created an account, so my changes won't appear under my name; they're normally under 204.155.226.3). Can anyone grant me access, please?
Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JSpsu05 (talk • contribs) 14:45, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
- Since only registered users can edit the article, and but you're newly registered, you won't be able to edit it. Thank the anonymous editor from Greece for consistently adding incorrect information while jumping IPs for the lock.
- No one can grant you access. We either unlock the article, which I don't think is worth the effort, or you can add a {{edit protected}} template here. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:16, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
OK, no problem. I'll just update that section after this weekend's game so we have accurate stats. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by JSpsu05 (talk • contribs) 15:59, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

Javi Martinez had his first goal in the Bundesliga in the previous game against Hannover in Allianz Arena with a beautiful bicycle kick, while Anatoly Tymoshchuk scored yesterday against SC Freiburg. And you say that you dont have knowledge of that things and you call yourself editors. What does give you the right to abuse this things? 2.85.60.90 (talk) 08:45, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- You need to provide a reliable source for the update; and, for the second time, please stop calling people names. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 09:12, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
