RB3 Support Column...[edit]

ALL songs support "core" mode. To say a song released for or compatible with RB3 has no RB3 support doesn't make sense. Maybe rename the heading to "Pro Mode Support" instead. Eyescovered (talk) 20:17, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This column extends to all pre-RB3 lists (2007 in ..., etc.). Most songs, save for select ones that have backing vocals (Pearl Jam and Green Day), or those that HMX adds the ability to get Pro Guitar charts on (only Queen ones to date), do not support the otherwise Core RB3 features of keys, Pro keys, and harmonies. --MASEM (t) 21:04, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, ok. I was thinking "core" meant guitar/drums/bass/vocals (which it would for RB1/2). But, RB3 core features would include harmonies/keys. Makes sense. Thanks. Eyescovered (talk) 22:04, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pro Guitar/Bass on legacy songs[edit]

There may be having some misunterstanding at how Harmonix are going to update legacy songs... There will not be RB3 versions (harmonies and/or keys charted) for the current 11 songs announced for Pro Guitar/bass support, they just are addons for the already released songs. you must have previously bought each song to buy the addon and it just adds the pro guitar/bass charts, nothing else. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4lic (talkcontribs) 14:38, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Upcoming songs by Grand Funk Railroad, Joy Division and J. Geils Band[edit]

When Harmonix made the announcement about DLC for 3/29, they put the video advertising these songs instead of the ones announced. It's safe to say that these songs will be released sometime in the future. Oh, and the video isn't available anymore. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4lic (talkcontribs) 14:35, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Because the video is gone, and I've seen no RS comment on the songs in the video, we can't verify their inclusion. We'll have to wait until they are officially announced. --MASEM (t) 15:07, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I see... and what RS stands for? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4lic (talkcontribs) 15:11, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources. --MASEM (t) 15:13, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Oh, and some guy in the forums stayed with the page opened until he got to grab the video.. here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHWPeIfrEBU — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4lic (talkcontribs) 15:30, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dead link[edit]

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!

Country DLC[edit]

The country track pack was not confirmed for some vague, nebulous date at some point in the future. It was confirmed for February 1, 2011. Seeing as it is now 8 months later, I think it's safe to assume that Harmonix isn't releasing it. Can we please remove them from the list of upcoming DLC? To whoever has put up the warning in RED ALL CAPS that the country track pack should stay up until Harmonix releases an official notice to the contrary - I think the mere fact that 8 months have gone by is all the official notice needed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AndyvonPants (talkcontribs) 03:35, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That was the date that the retail disk product was released (I have it, so it does exist), and HMX has stated they these will be available at some point. Unlike the Hendrix albums which HMX has confirmed were never on the docket and a misread from third-party articles, it is HMX that says these tracks will be available at somepoint and have not denied that they have been removed. --MASEM (t) 03:42, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with Masem. The DLC was confirmed for a vague, nebulous date at some point in the future. The disc-based release was confirmed for February 1, 2011, when it was indeed released. –Drilnoth (T/C) 15:56, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Adding newer news: [1] HMX halloween Q&A confirms it is still coming, and likely will have RB3 features. --MASEM (t) 17:03, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How to incorporate the fact that all 21 of the new country songs are also available in a single DLC pack (Country Mega Pack)? 68.102.64.174 (talk) 03:45, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's released. Let's remove the Edit Warning thingy. Peterrisser (talk) 15:37, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Taken care of. --MASEM (t) 16:06, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
