[edit]This should be re-directed to U.S._1st_Cavalry_Division, as is 4th Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division (I'd do it, but I don't know how to do a re-direct). The entire article is simply a cut & paste of the official unit history, and really isn't that notable. Mike f 22:25, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
- Disagree. Under the modular unit structure since 2004, BCTs are the basic building block of the US Army. I'm working on creating articles for all the BCTs- eventually, I'll get the 4th BCT, 1st CAV created, too.82redleg (talk) 16:08, 25 December 2017 (UTC)
- I served in 1ABCT, 1ID from 2011-2014. I know some of the unit history and lineage. I may be able to help with this article. I am currently working on updating some other unit history pages and will return to this one in the future. I look forward to collaborating with anyone interested in the history of the Ironhorse Bridage at Fort Hood, TX.Usfmicah (talk) 02:31, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
I'm no editor, but I noticed there are surviving references to Ft. Hood in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.170.75.82 (talk) 22:14, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
