I've reduced the quality rating back to start-class because I'm very uncomfortable with this article. It was written six years ago and since then site standards have improved especially to comply with WP:V and related policies. The article is in effect a spinoff from History of cricket to 1725 and it should really present a focus on each individual season at a time when very little source data was recorded. Work is needed to make better use of it and this may mean splitting the content by creating additional articles. ----Jack | talk page10:30, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
