Autopatrolled

User:DoubleGrazing

I've created 40 articles (mostly on pretty uncontroversial subjects such as buildings and structures) with no major problems. I'm confident I understand the key policies like verifiability, NPOV and copyright. I also make a point of creating a complete article at once before publishing, so you won't see short unreferenced stubs from me. My reason for requesting this right is simply to reduce the new page reviewer workload. DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:07, 1 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@DoubleGrazing: Thanks for volunteering. All your creations look fine, but one benefit to them continuing to be patrolling is that new page reviewers are still adding WikiProject tags to the talk pages. These are important in helping ensure that articles are monitored and maintained in the long term. If you are granted autopatrolled, are you willing to start tagging your creations with relevant WikiProjects yourself? I find WP:RATER makes it a lot easier. – Joe (talk) 09:57, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Joe Roe: Thanks for your comments. The tags I've mostly seen are the stub ones - are those the ones you mean? Anyway, I'm more than happy to tag my own creations, of course, if it in any way helps others improve them! :) Many thanks for the pointer to Rater, which I wasn't aware of; I've just installed it, and look forward to exploring and using it. Cheers, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:10, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
PS: Just tried the Rater tool — that's handy! :) Thanks again, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:44, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It's the tags on the talk page, rather than stub tags, like this. But yes if you wouldn't mind trying to remember to add those yourself from now,  Done – Joe (talk) 08:50, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
