Autopatrolled

User:GlashaLeo

I think it's time for enhancing the rights of one of the most active contributors in the field of Badminton in Wikipedia, who has created close to 500 articles. Thankyou. zoglophie•talk• 16:05, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:QuietHere

Prolific article creator, has solid grasp of music notability guidelines. Only one article of theirs, Never Falter Hero Girl, has been removed from mainspace the past six months or so, which is a great batting average. Mach61 (talk) 17:02, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Khaatir

I have been contributing to Wikipedia since the beginning of 2021 in the domain of biographies, particularly those of Islamic scholars, academics, and literary figures. Several of my drafts were approved in AfC, and several of my articles have been marked as reviewed by new page patrollers. My articles include Abdullah Hasani Nadwi, Abdul Khaliq Madrasi, Abul Kalam Qasmi Shamsi, Amjad Najmi, Ahmed Ali Badarpuri, Ibrahim Balyawi, Kafeel Ahmad Qasmi, Karamat Ali Karamat, Mahdi Hasan Shahjahanpuri, Muhammad Ismail Katki, Sharif Hasan Deobandi, Sirajussajidin Katki, and Wahiduzzaman Kairanawi.  I am asking for an autopatrolled flag since I understand the notability requirements. I believe that my articles don't require patrolling currently, and the load of new page patrollers should lessen. Khaatir (talk) 17:42, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'd endorse this request given my experience with this user through my outreach activities. Values feedback and is good at learning and content creation. Best regards, ─ Aafī (talk) 07:48, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Britfilm

Patroller Usedtobecool thinks this individual would be a good fit for autopatrolled. Britfilm has 600 articles in the past year (~80 in the queue right now) and I am not seeing any deletion controversies. Articles are not massive but they're using proper sources and I don't see what NPRs can do except marking them reviewed. I have no comment on this and am just copying it over. –Novem Linguae (talk) 02:08, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Was previously autopatrolled on their old account. Received it temporarily on their current account but it expired. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 01:02, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting autopatrolled rights Hello. I have been nominated for becoming a new page reviewer based on my edits. I believe based on my number of page creations and track record I fit the criteria for having my account becoming autopatrolled. Rahammz (talk) 13:44, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Rahammz, you already made request one time. Have patience. I have informed this matter at AN page. An admin will do the needful but since it's a huge backlog, admins can't watch all of our request at one day. ☮️Counter-Strike:Mention 269🕉️(🗨️✉️📔) 01:08, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Tapmani

I have created many clean pages without maintenance tags on them. This of course wasn't easy as I had to spend months learning how to create pages by visiting the Teahouse (a place without a sip of tea) to avoid embarrassing and suffocating the pages I create with maintenance tags overdose. Having this right will help improve this encyclopedia and lessen the work of those who review new articles. Tapmani (talk) 09:19, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Hemmers

Hi, Have created >50 articles (mostly BLP), which are clean and not burdened with maintenance tags. Main focus is filling in redlinks of medalists on articles such as 2018 ISSF World Shooting Championships (World Champ medallists tick the box on WP:SPORTSPERSON, easy mode for notability and generally end up with plenty of independent coverage). I don't want to burden the backlog with uncontroversial articles. Admittedly my work does tend to be short and to the point. But clean, with good infoboxes and enough independent coverage to be uncontroversial. Thanks. Hemmers (talk) 17:22, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Youknowwhoistheman

Hello, I have created 33 articles so far, mostly Australian biographies, and I mostly work on women. Under WikiProject Women in Red, I create articles for many women in wiki project women in red. I think, now I should be given permission to autopatrolled. Thanks, with best Regards! Youknowwhoistheman (talk) 17:30, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. Hello @Youknowwhoistheman. Thanks for creating this many articles about women! Your work on Indian women combats two different systemic biases Wikipedia has, and it's great work you're doing. At this point in time, I do think you benefit still from getting feedback from new page patrollers. Only quite recently were you asked to "wikify" your articles by including outgoing links. If you look at Chameli Devi Jain, there are only three sources, and they don't all have significant coverage. The first source only has about 30 words about her for instance. It's important to establish notability for each article created.
You may also benefit from installing a source highlighter such as User:Novem Linguae/Scripts/CiteHighlighter. That way, you can spot which sources have been found to be unreliable via consensus. For instance, in Afreen Hyder, you included a cite to the logical indian, which is flagged as an unreliable source. —Femke 🐦 (talk) 08:23, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Femke Thanks you for your guidance. Youknowwhoistheman (talk) 12:27, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the created articles look really nice, so I'm inclined to grant. @Y2hyaXM: I noticed you included external links in 2024 Maryland abortion referendum (in the last table). Per WP:external link, there rarely should be external links in the body. Among other reasons, they're prone to link rot, making it more difficult to verify information. Can you ensure future articles don't have external links in their bodies? —Femke 🐦 (talk) 08:31, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The polls in that section used external links because that's how most polls on Wikipedia are formatted (see Nationwide opinion polling for the 2024 United States presidential election for an example) Y2hyaXM (talk) 13:50, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Silly convention on those pages, but no reason to withhold autopatrolled. —Femke 🐦 (talk) 14:39, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Nataev

Good day! I keep receiving notifications about pages that I created a while ago and started to wonder if I should seek autopatrolled rights to lessen the burden of NPP reviewers. I've been contributing to WMF projects since 2009. Here on enwiki, I've made over 9,000 edits and created over 90 pages. Of them, only four were deleted -- three were later re-created by me and kept, and one test template was deleted at my own request. I primarily write about Central Asia's culture, geography, and history. Some of my latest contributions include copy-editing and updating the entry on Queen's University at Kingston and turning a redirect page into a proper article about the highly important Andijan Reservoir. I already have autopatrolled rights on ruwiki, trwiki, and Commons and have had advanced rights on uzwiki since 2012. Admittedly, since I'm active on so many projects, my contributions tend to be short, but I have a solid grasp of notability guidelines. Nataev talk 19:39, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:CSMention269

I met the criteria and want this right to help me create new articles of the candidates highly probable to win the seats in 18th Lok Sabha (2024 Indian general elections). As soon as they elect as MP, I will create the article with an expanded version, depending on GNG references I found. I don't need it for now as of March and April, but I am asking in advance. ☮️Counter-Strike:Mention 269🕉️(🗨️✉️📔) 03:23, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

When patrolling a page they've started, I noted its excellent quality, and in reviewing their contributions I note that this has been a consistent pattern. Klbrain (talk) 08:47, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback Klbrain! It is very kind of you. Academia45 (talk) 09:16, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Aviram7

Hey there! I've created over 40+ articles and 12,500+ edits over two years I've been on Wikipedia and I created more article on draft from articlespace without WP:AFC process.I want to reduce the backlog so that other NPP reviewers will have a less of a hassle reviewing my pages (I'm a NPP reviewer myself). Thanks!.😊~~ αvírαm|(tαlk) 11:26, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. The reasons your previous requests were declined are still valid. Many of your recent article creations still have grammar mistakes, and your request doesn't give me much confidence either ("I created more article on draft from articlespace" does not make sense). I think it would still be beneficial for other editors to review your articles. Please do not request this permission again; if someone else feels you are ready, they can nominate you for this permission. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 15:40, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have created numerous pages, mostly recently in the realm of women's hockey: both professional and WCHA-related. I've no interest in creating counter-factual content, and would love to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. MikeVitale 02:08, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Vacant0

Saw this user when patrolling, which they've created nearly 200 redirects with no controversial deletions. However, in the grand scheme of things, their article creation track record is even more impressive; author of multiple GAs and many B-class articles, 72 creations with no deletions. Would be very beneficial to have Vacant be autopatrolled, I feel. Utopes (talk / cont) 03:30, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Pangalau

Came across this user while patrolling. Has created 353 articles; 170 of which are either C or B class. Across all creations, only two pages have been through deletion processes. One was an AfD, within which Pangalau was helpful and provided WP:THREE best sources, but was ultimately deemed not enough coverage. The other deletion, (a bit more eye-catching) was a G12 from August 2023, which was swiftly and courteously responded to on talk page as a mistake left behind. From my point of view, 2 of 350 is still a super solid track record; the G12 is definitely a concern but there hasn't been a pattern, and this error was learned from with a clean slate since. User:Frzzl

Came across this user while patrolling, and am nicely impressed. With 43 articles created, Frzzl already has multiple GAs from their own creations. Among their last 38 page creations, only one has been a stub, and most are C-class. Frzzl's only deletion was their first ever page tagged as G2; in other words, no problems that I can tell. I feel confident in the creations so far. Utopes (talk / cont) 06:14, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Tacyarg

Came across while patrolling; Tacyarg is a long-time editor since 2009, who started creating articles in 2017. Since then, they've created 32 pages, all of which being fleshed out with few stubs. Besides a G7, they've only had one deletion which was on their second ever article in 2017. This case was basically creating the BLP too soon, as it ended up springing up again and has remained stable ever since. I feel their track record since 2009 speaks for itself, and can be trusted to create great pages. Utopes (talk / cont) 06:21, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Knightoftheswords281

Saw this user while patrolling. Knightoftheswords has done a great job at building up articles on all sorts of current topics, from the humble beginnings up to generally B and C class articles across the board. They've created 29 so far with zero deletions... besides one that shows up in XTools, which was due to a now-blocked user moving Knight's draft on the Whatever (podcast) into mainspace against Knight's wishes, to which Knight can't be faulted for (as they confirmed this during the associated AfD). With all else being equal, I feel like their creations have all been solidly put together, even if it takes a few edits to get there, and they have a good understanding of writing articles and policy. Utopes (talk / cont) 06:45, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Dr Gangrene

Came across while patrolling. Dr Gangrene has created 173 articles since 2005. 27 of these articles were made in November 2023 or later. The articles might not be the lengthiest, but they're all still free of tags, and with such a long track record I don't foresee any issues with marking these as patrolled. They have zero pages deleted in the last two decades... besides one, which is somewhat odd; XTools shows their second ever article was deleted, created in 2007, but with 45 bytes to start it looks like a redirect. It was eventually G11'd in 2020, so I have to guess that was due to material added by someone else, as it'd be highly unusual to G11 a page after 13 years of existence, but I digress. Looks like an otherwise handy autopatrol. Utopes (talk / cont) 06:53, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
