New page reviewer

User:Timothytyy

Requesting for permanent NPP rights after a 1-month trial. During this trial, I fully understood the NPR guidelines, got used with reviewing articles, and utilized the features of Page Curation, like maintenance tagging, deletion tagging and message-sending. I also familiarized myself with the AfC process (which I am new to) and read the guidelines. I am quite confident that my reviews are constructive and I am a net positive contributor to the huge NPP log. I understand that my number of reviews might not be that large, but I consider quality over quantity, and I try my best to not accept junk and filter them out quickly. In conclusion, I believe I am competent enough to continue to contribute to NPP. Thank you very much for considering! Timothytyy (talk) 02:33, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I humbly apply for the right to review pages and mark pages as reviewe. I have worked and shown participation in processes such as WP:AFD, WP:CSD, WP:AFC reviewing, et cetara. I always like to help assuming the good faith of Wikipedia as well as the large backlog of New pages feed. Thanks so much.

I've been editing for nearly fifteen years and am very familiar with Wikipedia's content policies. I am very familiar with AfD and have contributed to discussions. I've also recently run a draft through AfC (despite being extended-confirmed) to better familiarize myself with its policies and procedures firsthand. I have interacted well with other users, moved and merged pages, and have received no sanctions in my history. I haven't encountered much copyvio on Wikipedia to show examples of; however, my contributions on Commons, while infrequent, demonstrate a knowledge of copyright policy, which is useful in reviewing new pages which can sometimes be heavily plagiarized or copied from outside sources. Hi. I've just found out that there's a significant backlog, I would like to volunteer. I've dedicated the last few days to acquainting myself with NPR procedures, temporarily putting aside my usual editing tasks. My expertise lies in writing articles, especially biographies and geography. I have published 29 articles and only one got deleted as WP:G7, While my AFD engagement is low, my understanding of notability guidelines can be valuable for article reviews. Thank you Dcotos (talk) 20:11, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm willing to help with the backlog and I'm free to do a trial if necessary; I understand relevant policies and I have experience with AfD; I'm also very slightly active in AfC (although, at the moment, all of my AfCs are declines, and I'm attempting to participate in AfC more.)
