Autopatrolled

User:Haoreima

I have created 80 articles and 4000+ edit counts in English wikipedia. Most of the articles I have created are reviewed by many reviewers without any further editing on those pages from their side (in most cases). I know this as I received notifications about my articles being reviewed. I think that the reviewers of my articles are usually satisfied with me, it's just my thought. So, I think I should not give a burden to the reviewers who are checking on the list of articles pending for review in this wiki. So, I wish to achieve the autopatrolled user right. In other wikis, I have autopatrolled user rights in Wikimedia Commons and Meta wiki, IP block exemption user right in Meitei wikipedia.

User:Owais Al Qarni

I have created over 55 articles. I'm familiar with the WP:N and WP:NEU. Thanks. –MinisterOfReligion (Talk) 01:39, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. Hi Owais Al Qarni, and thank you for your contributions. Unfortunately, I think your creation at Islamic Finance by Ashraf Ali Thanwi – which was deleted at AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Islamic Finance by Ashraf Ali Thanwi and appears to have contained extensive copyright violations – indicates that the ordinary review process continues to be appropriate. The good news is that the autopatrolled flag does not grant any technical abilities and not having it shouldn't affect your editing in any way. Please let me know if you have any questions. @L235: Sorry, Islamic Finance by Ashraf Ali Thanwi was not a extensive copyright violations, content published under a CC BY 3.0 license, which is Compatible for Wikipedia. Please check Again.–MinisterOfReligion (Talk) 12:23, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Either way, you don't want your articles deleted. The reason doesn't really matter. This was rather recent and is something that new page patrollers should pick up. Therefore, review for a while longer is appropriate. Schwede66 05:29, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm currently adding articles related to species of lichens as part of the Wikiproject Fungi Lichens Taskforce (that is the only time talking about lichen has ever sounded cool). I expect all of the lichen articles to be short and simple as there isn't a lot of academic research published on lichens, just enough to pass WP:GNG. Additionally I'm trying to improve and expand articles on amateur radio related topics and have authored a few articles about new radios and have brought back a few from redirection. I currently have authored 22 articles and resurrected/saved a couple more, I know it says 25 but I'm sure by tomorrow I'll have finished at least three more lichen articles. I have a strong understanding of the rules and am currently an active reviewer for Articles for Creation and am a New Page Patroller, have recently completed NPP School, and am active on AfD. I'm honest and upfront with my mistakes and errors and work hard to learn from them. Thank you for your time in reviewing my request, if you have any questions or concerns please let me know and I will be more than happy to address them. I'll check out your contributions. Give me a moment. Schwede66 05:30, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Dr vulpes, I've had a look. I've made lots of little edits with the edit summaries explaining what I did. It would be good if you could take note of these. One thing I didn't fix is your use of navboxes. As per WP:NAVBOX, the target article should be contained in the navbox but none of the examples that I saw (amateur radio transceivers and Trans-e-motion) weren't. Hence, those navboxes should either be removed from those articles, or the relevant articles added to the navboxes. Another thing that I haven't fixed are the specifications of your amateur radio transceiver articles. The items should be described in sentence case. I haven't been able to find a single article of yours that isn't a stub. Why us reviewers are keen to see articles with substance is because stubs don't show whether an editor has the skills to create substantial articles in line with MOS and other guidance. Could you please point me to something more substantial? Schwede66 06:02, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hey @Schwede66, thanks for pointing out the bidirectionally rule for the navboxs that one is on me. I see this rule broken a lot so I just fell into that bad habit. Going forward I'll be sure to keep my eye out for that. It's kind of nice to know this now, I'll start reorganizing the ham radio articles that way. I have two articles that have some substance to them Indigenous science (before and after), and FT8 (before and after). I've also been working (slowly) on the Adverse childhood experiences article, it needs a lot of love but I've made some large edits there as well (edit example).
If you're not comfortable with this that is 100% ok I won't take it personally and I can just come back after I write a few longer articles (and fix the mistakes in my old ones!) Dr vulpes (💬📝) 03:30, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Done I've assigned autopatrolled for 6 months. Before we get to end of Feb 2023, please come back here and ask for someone to check your latest contributions. Feel free to ping me at that point. I get the impression that you are willing to take on the feedback. Happy editing! Schwede66 05:16, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

User:Poli Hunt

Requesting autopatrol privileges for Poli Hunt they're creating a lot of articles on Indian politicians. I've reviewed many of their articles and I haven't noticed any problems with them while doing NPP. They have over 5,000 edits, have created quite a few articles, and seems to have their act together. Created over 100 articles. 6 have been deleted, most recently in 2020. New creations do not appear to require attention from NPP. * Pppery * it has begun... 15:03, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

User:MPGuy2824

@MPGuy2824 has authored 632 articles and authors about one or two a month right now but does have large influxes of articles at times. They are a NPP, have no copyright violations, no blocks, and no behavioral related sanctions that I can find or have seen. Requesting autopatrol privileges to prevent strain on the NPP backlog. Thank you for your time and if this request is not appropriate or if I've made a mistake please let me know. Dr vulpes (💬📝) 23:57, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

User:Mellk

I have created plenty of articles recently, especially this month, without any issues, and am in the process of creating more. None of the articles I have created overall have been deleted and I have had a couple moved to draft but these were early last year and were among the early articles I created; they were moved back to main not long after and since then I have been consistent. I understand that there is a backlog for NPP, so I am requesting autopatrolled rights to reduce this burden on NPP. Thanks. Mellk (talk) 22:47, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
