Credibility

How credible are 'confessions' under such circumstances?! --105.4.3.108 (talk) 11:33, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For what it's worth, it was claimed that the soldiers turned themselves in or at least did not resist. They could also admit to killing but still disagree with the classification of war crimes. Fantasix6 (talk) 18:14, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Vadim ShishimarinTrial of Vadim Shishimarin – The subject is only notable for the conviction, so WP:BLP1E applies. ~StyyxTalk? 21:01, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Agree I think this article and every other article where there is a trial that has a separate page, where only nobility is trial for the war crimes in Ukraine, should have notice that the article is part of War crimes in the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine at the top of the page.

  • Oppose we might hear of him again in 2050 long after the trial. Or he could be exchanged for Ukrainian soldiers. More events regarding this person could happen apart of the trial. This move would only restrict the scope of the article and potentially cause problems in the future. Super Ψ Dro 11:07, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Is this for real? xD ~StyyxTalk? 11:10, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Could be changed again in future, if needed. But right now agree that policy WP:BLP1E applies. Martinevans123 (talk) 11:10, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
