The Palestinian NGOs Network (PNGO) is an umbrella organization of Palestinian non-government organisations (NGOs) operating in the Palestinian territories, formed in September 1993 to enhance coordination, consultation and cooperation between member organizations. As at January 2020, there were 135 member NGOs operating in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Jerusalem.[1][2] Each member NGO obtains separate funding for its activities from donors, which include governments, international organisations, charities, etc.

PNGO is a member of the Palestinian BDS National Committee, the coordinating body for the BDS campaign and promotes other anti-Israel activities.[1]

In January 2020, the European Union inserted a new clause in EU’s grant contracts that would prohibit recipients from working with and funding organizations and individuals designated on the EU’s terror lists. The Palestinian NGO Network vehemently opposed the new requirement. According to media reports, PNGO claimed that Palestinian terrorist organizations are “political parties.”[3] [4]
