Scuderia Alpha Tauri (formerly known as Scuderia Toro Rosso) is an Italian Formula One racing team. It is one of two Formula One teams owned by Austrian beverage company Red Bull, the other being Red Bull Racing. Alpha Tauri functions as a junior team to Red Bull Racing, with the aim of developing the skills of promising drivers for the senior team. The team will make its racing début in the 2020 season as a result of rebranding from Scuderia Toro Rosso to Scuderia Alpha Tauri in a reference of promoting Alpha Tauri fashion brand.[2] Scuderia Alpha Tauri is also the second Formula One team to promote a clothing fashion brand as a Formula One constructor since Benetton Formula that participated from 1986 to 2001 before being purchased by Renault.
