Subhashree Ganguly is an Indian film actress and model who appears predominantly in Bengali films. Born in Bardhaman, she forayed into showbiz by becoming the winner of Fairever Anandalok Nayikar Khonje in 2006.[1][4][5][6]
Career
Debut, struggle and success
Subhashree made her debut in Oriya films with Mate Ta Love Helare. Subsequently, she made her debut in Bengali films with Pitribhumi, in which she played a supporting role. Directed by Prabhat Roy.[7] Her first film with Bangladesh actor Shakib Khan, Nabab, created sales records in Bangladesh film history and went on to became one of the most successful films in recent times.[8][failed verification]
